Installation attribution information from SDK

Thanks to the getInstallAttributionInfo method we will be able to obtain the attribution data of each user's install to know exactly where it comes from.

In order to have this information about your users, it is essential that the app is configured to support this method. To do this, you need to follow this integration guide for iOS and this one for Android to start getting this information.

Once the integration is done, the install attribution data obtained is as follows:

  1. Status: this field returns the state in which the attribution is and can have several types:
    • Pending: this state is shown when the install is still pending attribution. This is due to EMMA attribution window (maximum 2 days)
    • Campaign: this status is shown once the install has been attributed to a campaign, source and provider.
    • Organic: this status is shown when the install has arrived organically. If the attribution is organic it will not be linked to a campaign, therefore the campaign will be null.
  2. Campaign id: this field will show the id of the campaign to which the campaign belongs. If it is an organic attribution in this field will appear the text "No Data".
  3. Campaign name: the name of the campaign (the one in EMMA) to which the install belongs to will be shown. If it is an organic attribution, this field will show the text "No Data".
  4. Source id: this field will show the id of the source to which the attribution belongs to. In the case of organic attributions, this field will show the text "No Data"
  5. Source name: the ifno of the name of the source to which the attribution belongs to will be shown. In the organic attributions in this field you will see the text "No Data"
  6. Provider id: in this field you will be able to see the information related to the id of the provider to which the attribution belongs. If it is an organic attribution in this field the text "No Data" will be shown.
  7. Provider name: this field shows the information related to the name of the provider from which the attribution comes. If it is an organic attribution, the text to show in this field will be "No Data".
