EMMA allows you to obtain a report about Apptracker installs that may have been carried out using fraudulent techniques.
This functionality gives you more control over the quality of the traffic you are paying for by obtaining additional valuable informations to be able to optimize each of your acquisition channels.
Rules for detecting fraud
In order to detect fraud, we have established five rules to taken into account to determine if an install is suspected of being fraudulent or not and the probabilistic weight of the same
In the following table you can see which are these rules:
|FR1 CLICK HIJACKING||
Injection of a second click of the same device seconds after of the initial click and before the install (the clicks must have been made in an interval of less than 5 seconds and belong to different sources).
|FR2 SECONDS TO INSTALL||
Seconds from the click to the install. Less than 10 seconds it will be possible fraud.
|FR3 INSTALL TIME||
Install time. All of those that are made from 2 am to 5 am (device time) will be possible fraud.
Installs from countries in which the campaign is not running.

|FR5 TIMEZONE MATCH||
If the install timezone isn't the same as the ip timezone the install will be possibly fraudulent.
