EMMA Roadmap

This document shown the development status of the new EMMA functionalities. Our aim is to be transparent with our clients, informing them in every moment of the new development status and approaches of new functionalities. 

At the same time, we want as customers (or future customers!) you will participate in the roadmap definition, sharing your needs and ideas to be able to make EMMA the best mobile marketing automation platform.

2017 Autumn

1. Explore + 👍🏻

We improved the Explore screen to be able to add subfilters to the actual segments and allow to make combinations of filters with the AND and OR operators, which will allow to perform more powerful queries.

2. Personalize comunication 👍🏻

For all the comunication formats (Push Notifications, In-App messages and Native Ads) we will allow to enter labels in texts of the type {{NAME}} which will be replaced by the corresponding value of each user to personalize the message.

3. Campaign pre-validation 👍🏻

We will create the possibility of using new specific roles to control the campaign publication  so that it is mandatory (in case of activating the functionality) that the campaign is validated by a manager role. In addition, two additional roles will be created, Author and Analyst that will only be able to manage the content of the campaign and the target respectively.

4. Re-Targeting Campaigns

We will add to the Apptracker, the Re-Targeting campaign support. You will make Re-Targeting campaigns for Adwords, Facebook and Twitter and then you measure the engagement. Also, we will take advantage to simplify the interface and improve the usability of the Apptracker screen.

5. Campaign display schedule  👍🏻

You will able to indicate the time slot in which an InApp communication will be display in a visual and simple way. That user can see a banner only in the morning?, or a Startview at dinner time? Go thinking how to take advantage for your InApp communications.

6. Campaign users export (Raw Export Comm)👍🏻

With a single click you will have a complete export of all user that had interacted in any way with the campaign that you choose in the Communication Report. You can use all the habitual filters and obtain in a file all the information about the users that had participated in this campaigns.

7. Uninstallations ⚙️

Through invisible Push we can identify the user who have uninstalled your App. We will add a graphs so you can check the evolution of this metric and the impact that it has in your App.

2018 Winter

1. A/B Test ⏱

We will add the possibility of creating different creativities if the same campaign (Push / In-App / Native Ad) defining different % of the same users segment and a control group that won't be impacted.

2. Custom Dashboard+
👍🏻

We know that you like the Custom Dashboards and we will do our best because you love them. Some of you have ask us for improvements and we are going to implement them. We allow to be shared via PDF wit any email (user or not of the platform) and we will expand the number of modules to add to a Dashboard.

3. Sankey ❌

Sankey is the Anglo-Saxon name for users navigation graphics. With it you can identify how the users move along the app, what screens they access and from what screens they come from.

4. Push Notifications New Interface ⏱

Taking advantage of the new Test A/B improvement we will introduce a new interface for one of the most veteran functionalities: Push Notifications. In this way, we will include it with the renewed In-App Messaging including some new functionalities like multi language.

5. Advanced fraud detection

We know that every day is a headache and we want to improve our fraud detection algorithms in order to eliminate any option that allows the "malignant" to take advantage of your catchment budget.

6. Events with parameters⏱

Although we are already using params in the events internally, during the winter we want to publish this functionality in a open way to all our customers in order that they can enrich even more the information of their events and be able to make even more powerful filters based on all the knowledge of your users.
