EMMA offers a filter system so you can have all the information of your users, besides the labeling that you have established for your App.

1. KPI's "I want to see"
All the data that you are going to consult in EXPLORE will depend on the main KPI that you choose.
The options will appear when you select I want to see...
Available filters to choose in I want to see:
|Conversions||Purchases of the users|
|Revenue||Transaction orders value|
|Average Order Revenue||Average value per order/purchase|
|Average User Revenue||Average value made per user by purchase|
|Session||Every time that the user open the app|
|EVENT||Consult your implemented events|
2. Add filters
Once you select the main KPI that you want to consult, you can introduce all the filters you want to use:
1. Click on the green button "+" to add a new filter criteria. Choose among all the available filters. You can add as many as you want with the "+Add filter" button:
2. All the conditioned filters of the segmentation will be added with an intermediate "AND" that will mean that the filtered users must meet the conditions:
3. Click on one of the intermediates "AND" to convert the conditionals to "OR". This change will imply that the filtered users must meet some of the conditions:
4. You can enrich the segmentation by adding new conditionals to the equation. To do this, use sub-filters which will allow you to include new "AND" and "OR":
Click on "AND" and "OR" to change the application of the conditional from "all" to "some":
5. To delete a filter, you only have to select the red trash icon that is located on the right of the filter.
6. Each time that you update some information or you add/delete a filter, you have to select the Show button and the data will be updated.
Tags with more than 100K results won't be shown the list of results and you have to add the wanted value manually.
3. Available filters
You can select in the Explore dashboard the filter that you want to consult in the list that EMMA provides you. To help you in your search, Para mejorar la búsqueda, se ha basado un sistema de selección de filtros en:
- All: breakdown of all the available filters
- Attributtes: breakdown of the filters that refer to device or app attributtes (OS, app version...) and to the tags implemented in the app.
- Events: includes all the events, the EMMA ones that appear by default and the app events that your app contains.

- The default events will be highlighted with a white lightning:
- The custom events will be highlighted with a black lightning:
- The automatic events marked as active will be highlighted with a green lightning. You can activate your automatic events by following these instructions.
4. Available selection variants
Below you can find a list of the available selection variants nowadays to be able to do a more specific information filter.
You must take into account that this selection variants there aren't able to each filter. Each filter accept ones or others selection variants base on the information that are being filtering.

This operator will be only available for user tags.

This operator will return all the attributes associated to the query event.
This operator will only be available for custom events and session and login.
5. Filter from a csv
EMMA gives you the opportunity to cross your csv's files with our database.
To do so, you must select some of the Tags that your app is sending to us.
If you want to upload a file, you only have to select the button of the cloud that you have on the right of the filter:
Keep in mind that the csv has to have all the values in a single column, without blank spaces and without the name of the TAG in the header:
You have two options: you can manually upload the .CSV to EMMA or if it's needed you can consult a FTP server route. Remember that you always need to put the username and the password of the route.
6. Save a new segment
You can save all the selected filters so you can consult them everytime you want.
1. Once you select the filters, you have to click on the Saved Segment button on the upper right margin:
2. When saving the segment, the first thing you have to do is enter a name to be able to identify your segment later.
If you want that your segment will be visible to all user who have access to your app, then you should check the "Set this Segment as Public" box and enable it.
Enable the Test Segment if you want a user with "Author" rol could test his communication campaigns (more info about the different roles here).
Finally, it only remains to save your segment. You will have to click the Save as new Segment button to have access to it later.
3. Your segment will be saved inside the option of Load a previously saved Segment:
Once the menu is displayed with all the saved segments, you can access to the segment you want in a quicker and easier way with the search engine "Search segment".
In the saved segments that include an event that is currently inactive, a red lightning will be marked in the event name that is causing the conflict. Follow these instructions if you want to activate it again.
7. Saved segments
In addition to the filters you have saved yourself, EMMA offers you a predefined segments that you can find in the option of Load a previously saved Segment.
In this segments you will find:
|A Users||Users who have opened the app in the last month and who have done more than one purchase.|
|A+ Users||Users who have opened the app in the last month, who have logged more than 4 times and who have made more than one purchase.|
|Active for push||Users who have activated the Push notifications.|
|Active Users||Users who have opened the app in the last month.|
|Inactive Users||Users who have not opened the app in the last month.|
|Installs (new users)||New users who have downloaded the app|
|Leads||Users who have registered in the app.|
|Register Offline||Users who have registered on a external site and who have logged in the app.|
|Non-Register Users||Users who have not registered or logged in the app.|
|Loyal Users||Users who have opened the app more than 4 times.|
|Organic Users||Users who have not come from any campaign.|
|Non-organic users||Users who come from campaign.|
|Buyers||Users who have purchased.|
|Loyal Buyers||Useers who have made two or more purchases|
|Non-buyers users||Users who have not purchased.|
8. Reporting: how to read your results
EXPLORE dashboard show you the data results in three parts:
1. The first one includes the first box that shows you the total devices in BBDD that meet the conditions of the selected filter:
- 123.455 users in total: shows the total users of your data base regardless of the filter that you select.
- 4.254 users: total users who meet the conditions of the selected filter.
To export this data, you have to select the box that contains the total users, open this article to know how to consult this data.
A preview of the available data will be shown on your screen. You can also customize the columns that you want to be added to the report and a 'Export' button which generates a .csv. Click here to know all what you can do with this kind of report.
2.The second part draws the results in a timeline that can be brokendown daily, weekly or monthly. The KPI drawn will be the one selected in "I want to see" filter:
- 105.. in total: total users who meet the conditions of your select filter in the period of time that you are using.
- Days, weeks, months: you can select the period of time you want to show in the graph. You can see the daily, weekly or monthy evolution of your data.
To export the data of a certain period of time that your select, you have to click on Export data.
3. The third and last option is a table that you will find below the graph. There you can review the accumulated data of the selected KPI and make a comparison for days, weeks or months.
3.1. Per day: you can compare the accumulated of the current day with the three days equivalent to the three previous weeks:
3.2. Per week: you can compare the accumulate of the current week with the three previous weeks:
3.3. Per month: you can compare the accumulate of the current month with the three previous months:
