In the Custom dashboard you will be able to consult all the data of your application in a fast and visual way, also you will have a global idea of everything what happens inside your app as in the Executive Summary. The main and great difference with the Executive Summary is that in this screen, you will be able to customize it to your liking and establish the graphs that interest you most. Here you can see how you can customize your app data.
Login in EMMA and go to Summary > Custom dashboards.
As with all EMMA screens, the data will be displayed according to the time period you select. EMMA allows you to select different time intervals, either by default or by specifying a custom data range.
The first step will be to create a new Dashboard in which you will be adding all the graphics you want to show. Click on New dashboard to start creating it.
Then, you can start adding all the graphics you need to create your dashboard. Click Add new graph to start adding them. You can choose from the following options:
- KPI: You can select among the KPIs (users, source, sessions...) that you are interested in analyzing your app.
- Event: You can choose between the events (session, register, login...) that you have assigned in your app.
- Funnel: You can choose between the funnels saved on the Behavior > Funnels screen.
- Segment: You can select between the saved segments in the different sections of Explore or Communication.
You can add as many graphics as you need. You can delete the chosen graphs by clicking on the trash or change the value that you are controlling by selecting a different one.
You can edit the Dashboards that you already have created.
The Dashboards that you already have created can also be deleted.
Once you have customized your dashboard, you can give it a name and save it in the Save button. In this dashboard you can decide whether to save it publicly (everyone who has access to the application can view it), or privately (you will only have access to it). To make it public you will only have to check the box to the right of Set this dashboard as Public.
You will be able to identify whether a dashboard is public or private, because when you select them an icon of the world will appear if it is public; and if it is not nothing will appear.
